If you use Supershine for lapping and have seen shading appear in the final stage of processing, then you are in the right place. Keep reading and you'll find out how to solve the problem!

Why does this happen?

One of the most common problems is precisely the appearance of shadows on the surface of the tile, which did not appear before it was processed by Supershine. At first glance, the only remedy would seem to be repainting the tile, with a lot of extra work and, consequently, very high costs.

Let us first try to understand what this problem depends on. At Premier we have carefully studied what happens and have realized that it all depends on a change in the porosity of the material or on an excess in the dosage of the treatment liquid or, ultimately, on the saturation of the felts mounted on the latest satellite heads dedicated to washing. The result is the formation of opaque areas in obvious contrast to the rest of the surface, which remains shiny.

The Premier Solution

Premier was able to eliminate these shadows by replacing the use of satellite felts with a new tool and defined a special compound resulting in a satellite that eliminates any unevenness in polishing.

Premier's new Satellite Super Lux mounts on the last 2 or 3 positions of the Supershine, those normally dedicated to washing; the positive effects are immediate! There is no special break-in required, and the effects are a beautiful, uniform shine and gloss that immediately jumps out at you.

With the use of Premier's Satellite Super Lux, the surface gains a new transparency and we have finally succeeded in creating a natural, deep glossy effect that has long been sought after in the ceramic environment.

Satellite Super Lux in no way affects the treatment to which the tiles are subjected, the effectiveness of which remains intact.

No more plastic effect. Thanks to Premier's Satellite Super Lux, colors are more vivid and the tile looks much more natural. And now even a simple glaze gains depth.

Operations and costs

Premier's Super Lux Satellite remains constant in its operation and requires no intervention or adjustment. Throughout its (long) life, the operator will not have to intervene as was often the case using pressed felt satellites because they became saturated.

What about costs? By completely eliminating that physiological percentage of tile "reprocessing," we were able to increase the line's productivity and, more importantly, drastically reduce processing costs.

Ease of use, natural gloss, vivid and deep colors, and cost reduction. Satellite Super Lux gives new life to tile and offers new opportunitiesà professional.
